About Mocha
Espresso with chocolate and steamed milk. Named after the Yemeni port city of Mocha, a major coffee trading hub. The city gave its name to both the coffee variety and the chocolate-coffee combination. The original Mocha coffee beans had natural chocolate notes. A mocha latte is essentially a hot chocolate with espresso.
