About Cascara
A tea made from dried coffee cherry husks. The name means husk in Spanish. The flavor is fruity, like hibiscus or cherry. Contains about 25% the caffeine of coffee. Popularized by specialty coffee shops in the 2010s. Coffee farmers had been discarding the husks for centuries. Sustainable use of a byproduct.
