About Turkish Tea
Black tea served in tulip-shaped glasses without handles. Grown primarily in Rize province on the Black Sea coast. Turkey consumes more tea per capita than any other country at 3.5 kg per person annually. The double teapot caydanlik brews strong tea on top, dilutes with hot water below. Served with beet sugar cubes, never milk.
