About Spritz
A family of Italian cocktails: prosecco, a bitter liqueur, and soda water. Aperol Spritz is the most famous but Select, Cynar, and Campari all work. The name comes from the German spritzen meaning to spray. Austrian soldiers in Venice diluted Italian wine with water. Venice drinks more spritz than anywhere else.
