Beer mixed with lemonade or ginger beer. The name may come from shandygaff, a 19th century term. Typically 50/50 beer to mixer. Popular in summer across Britain and Germany. The German version is Radler, meaning cyclist, allegedly created for bikers who wanted to keep riding. Low alcohol, highly refreshing.
