About Moscow Mule
Invented by three business partners trying to sell their struggling products: vodka, ginger beer, and copper mugs. Vodka, ginger beer, and lime juice served in a copper mug. The copper mug became iconic but has no effect on taste. John Martins Smirnoff vodka was the spirit. Over 100,000 copper mugs were sold in the first year alone.
