About Mastika
Bulgarian anise-flavored spirit distilled from grape must. Flavored with mastic resin from the mastic tree. Similar to Greek mastika but with Bulgarian distillation traditions. Typically 40-50% ABV. Served ice-cold as an aperitif. The mastic resin gives a distinctive pine-like flavor unique among anise spirits.
