One of the oldest distilled spirits in the world. Sri Lankan arrack is made from coconut flower sap. Indonesian arrack is made from sugarcane or rice. Not to be confused with Middle Eastern arak. Over 100 million liters produced in Sri Lanka. The British Navy mixed it into punch.
