About Midori
Bright green melon liqueur launched by Suntory in 1964. Originally called Hermes Melon Liqueur. Renamed Midori, meaning green in Japanese, in 1978. The vibrant color made it a 1980s cocktail staple. The Japanese Midori Sour is the most popular serve. Over 3 million bottles sold annually.
