About Ginger Beer
Originally fermented and alcoholic, now mostly non-alcoholic. Ginger plant starter, similar to kombucha SCOBY, was used for fermentation. Jamaica and the Caribbean produce the spiciest versions. Moscow Mule uses ginger beer as its base. Bundaberg from Australia is the most recognized premium brand worldwide.
