About Fernet-Branca
An intensely bitter amaro from Milan. Made from 27 herbs and spices aged in oak for one year. Called the bartenders handshake, ordered to test bar skill. Argentina consumes more Fernet per capita than Italy. Mixed with Coke in Argentina as Fernet con Cola. The taste is aggressively bitter, medicinal, and polarizing.
