Made by Carthusian monks from 130 botanicals. The recipe has been a secret since 1605. Only two monks know the full recipe at any time. Green Chartreuse is 55% ABV, yellow is 40%. The monks produce it in Voiron, France. A single batch can take weeks to blend.
